2. What data we process and why

a) Browsing data. When you visit the site, the servers automatically record some technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time. We use it only to run the site and protect it from abuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

b) Contact requests. If you fill in the form on the Contact page or write to us, we use your first name, surname, phone number, email and message only to reply to you.

Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f)).

c) Job applications. If you apply through the "Work with us" form or send us your CV by email, we use your data to assess your application and, if needed, to invite you to an interview. This is the data you give us: first name, surname, email, phone number, the position you are applying for, availability, the link to your CV and what your CV contains.

Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For CVs sent on your own initiative, consent is not required (Art. 111-bis of the Italian Privacy Code, Legislative Decree 196/2003).

Please do not include in your CV any data that is not needed for the selection, such as information about your health or your political or religious views.

3. Do you have to give us your data?

No. However, without the required fields of the forms we cannot reply to you or assess your application.

4. Who can see your data

  • authorised FBC staff (for job applications: the people in charge of recruitment);

  • Wix.com Ltd., which runs the website platform and collects the forms on our behalf as a data processor (Art. 28 GDPR);

  • our email service provider.

We do not sell or disclose your data.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers, such as Wix, may also process data outside the European Economic Area. They do so only in two cases: to countries covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, or with the safeguards set out in Art. 46 GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

  • browsing data: only as long as strictly necessary for the security of the site;

  • contact requests: as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than 12 months;

  • job applications: as long as needed for the selection, and no longer than 12 months from receipt. If you want us to delete yours earlier, just write to us.

7. Cookies

The site only uses the technical cookies of the Wix platform, which it needs to work. These cookies do not require your consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).

  • XSRF-TOKEN — security: blocks fraudulent requests (duration: until you close the browser)

  • client-session-bind, server-session-bind — security: protect the communication between your browser and the site (duration: until you close the browser)

  • __cf_bm — security: tells real visitors apart from bots (Cloudflare service) (duration: 30 minutes of inactivity)

  • ssr-caching — performance: shows how the page was generated (duration: up to 24 hours)

  • bSession — checks that the site is working properly (duration: 24 hours)

  • consent-policy — remembers your cookie settings (duration: set by Wix)

  • wixLanguage — remembers the language you chose (Italian or English) (duration: set by Wix)

Wix may set other similar technical cookies: the up-to-date list is on Wix's "Cookies and Your Wix Site" page. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

8. Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

  • access your data;

  • correct or delete it;

  • restrict its processing;

  • receive it in a readable format;

  • object to its processing.

These are your rights under Arts. 15-21 GDPR: to use them, write to info@befbc.com.

If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

9. Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions and we do not carry out profiling.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with the date of the update.
